When I was a kiddo, every beetle that had shiny wings was a lightbug. In fact, I had no idea what the actual lightbugs looked like until I was a teenager. If the creature's wings shimmered and reflected light - it surely was a lightbug. So, lightbugs came in many shapes and colors.
Obviously, I couldn't let such impeccable logic go to waste when I was designing the post style earrings to hold the gorgeous colorful stones I recently had an opportunity to snatch. These are quite light (2.2g), but some of us do enjoy extra support that posts provide with large stones.
